With the influx of western culture to all corners of the world, many traditional styles of clothing have been lost, or have fallen out of the mainstream "fashion" picture.  Simply put, we often don't know that there is a different way of doing things, an alternative...  

Children are renowned for their disregard of 'rules', constantly wanting to do things in their own fashion.  However when they see an example of genuine style, dignity and class, they often love to imitate it.

With our range of traditional clothes we offer you and your children the opportunity to do just that!  A taste of the style of Japan...  From the strength, dignity and purposefulness of the Samurai, to the subtle beauty and artistic style of the Geisha, our traditional clothes are infused with the style of Japan, the 'land of the rising sun'.

We would like to offer the traditional Japanese style as a genuine alternative to mainstream clothing.  The emphasis is on the 'way' things are done and not what they look like superficially.  Here we offer you a product of meticulous craftmanship.  A product that is distinctly Japanese.

All of the clothes in this traditional style are manufactured in Japan, we have tried to support companies that are family owned and orientated.

Our particular focus is on "Aizome" (traditional indigo dying) fabrics, as well as traditional patterns and designs that are characteristic of Japan. We would like to share with our customers the unique attitude towards the "process" of craftsmanship and aesthetic appreciation that permeates traditional Japanese culture.
